The members of the Hyūga Clan gain access to the famous dojutsu: the Byakugan. This ocular ability grants the clan the ability to see their enemy’s chakra system perfectly, as well as the flow of chakra. They have also created a fighting style that works with the byakugan called the Gentle Fist. It focuses on striking chakra points and impeding the flow of chakra within an opponent. The first ability of the Byakugan gives the user a near 360º field of vision, except for one blind spot at the back of the neck above the third thoracic vertebra. The second ability is being able to see through solid objects, and can use a degree of telescopic sight. The distance and the degree of telescopic sight varies from person to person, and can be improved. The main way to distinguish someone as a Hyūga would be their pale eyes.

History
The Hyuuga Clan were one of the founding forces behind the Village of Eclipse, famously known for their visual Kekkei Genkai; The Byakugan. This unique doujutsu leads to most Hyuuga having lighter coloured pupils, their most defining physical feature. Most Hyuuga are prideful people, believing in the strength of their clan; their traditions, techniques, and history. Though this is not always the case.
