Sun Village
Within the Village itself, there are many smaller villages, towns, and cities. The largest of all is the Sun Village. The people here tend to be very spiritual and spend much of their time devoted to tending to shrines, learning traditional dances and scripts, and appeasing various spirits, gods or demons. The Sun Village is known for its architecture- buildings of every size equipped with many large windows, some colored glass and some not. The people here are also known for their talents in nature; learning to live with the limited freshwater resources, using the desert sand in fertile soils, and maximizing building usage to reduce the amount of wood taken from the forest. There are many poets, scholars, and shrine caretakers here. Due to struggles with the Sun Village, there are several new and well kept places for shinobi academies and specialized training within the various extreme environments.

Blazeburg Forest
A deciduous and dense forest extending to a rocky coast: this place is frequented for careful lumber use on occasion and hunting. The main challenge within this forest are the spontaneous fires that alight when conditions are right. The fires are usually good, healthy for cleaning out debris and never take over the entire forest. A dense forest can be seen with plots of land filled with charcoal, charred wood, and flattened smoking grass. New plants can regularly be found taking root in these formerly burned places though rumors suggest ghosts may be found here as well.

Dread Parch Desert
This desert is the largest desert in the Sun Village and is called the Dread Parch because it seems as if no matter how much water you take with you, it never lasts the entire trip. Dunes of sand intermingle with steady, solid rock and dirt routes where sharp sabregrass grows knee high and snakes and scorpions roam, making travel treacherous. Carcasses accompanied by various scavengers, hidden bat populated caves, and rodents are often seen in the desert. Bandits and rogue shinobi sometimes use the area to hide from authorities. Sand is a great resource for fertilizer for the Sun Village, as well as the windows which they are so famous for.

Crescent Coast
Located near the Eclipse Village, the Crescent Coast is north of the Crescent Port. It is famed for its lavish, though small jungles which gather near the shore and ride the coastline up to the forests. Many tropical animals can be found here living among the bamboo, sugarcane and palms and not all species are documented or known. It is an explorer’s dream vacation location with bountiful fishing towns noted for its fresh sushi dishes.

The Tail Mountains
The Tail Mountains are the smaller end of the Hilt Mountain Range, at only around 600 miles in length. Much of the small range is more hilly, and the mountains have rounded summits leading to a desert valley between the Sun and Moon VIllages. Cold desert, chaparral, and deciduous forests can be found over the mountains and many species of hardy animal and plant are discovered here. During the war, the mountains were a major battleground for both shinobi armies and spies alike and abandoned forts and camps are relatively familiar.
