Akuma Territory The land of great power and horrors has swamplands to the north, mountains, deserts, and volcanoes in the center, and a full range of tropical forest environments along the Western Coast of the ocean and Devil’s Lake. Not many people know anything about the land here, its weather and terrain both a mystery. All stories tell of creatures here, some quite literally unbelievable in description: spirits, demons, monsters and legendary bijuu and rare summons. Lore of this place is of low quality and hard to find in the Villages, spurring on the grand folk tales told by the elders to all. What truth there is to the tales, nobody knows for sure, but no individual who has traveled there has returned with a sane mind and some don’t return at all.

The Land of the Departed A bulky swath of terrain at the southernmost edge of the continent, bordered by the Akuma Territory and the Eclipse Village. It is split into two regions by the large Angler River, which flows upwards into Devil’s Lake. The eastern side is occasionally visited as a mix of jungle and savannah reclaimed land filled with ruins draws curiosity worldwide. The famed shinobi folk hero, Ran Satoshi’s memorial and estate can be discovered there. The nature of the area to the east tends to be solemn, curious, and unforgettable, with ruins of old villages and homes emerging from the ground and covered in trees. To the west lies the Uncharted Expanse, an unknown land which nobody chooses to visit because of its close proximity to the Akuma Territory.
