This village owns a large and productive area of land to the north of the Sun Village. The village borders the Northern Ocean above, which is a cold but much more productive fishing spot than in some tropical places, with fish aplenty and with very large species dominating the waves. To the north east lies a section of around 800 square miles of frozen arctic land turning into taiga, the equivalent of a very snowy and wet rainforest in freezing territory. A very large uninhabited island rests within the Frozen Bergs while continuing west leads into dense temperate forests which see all seasons and a southern towering mountain range of cliffs known as the Crags. This place is one of the most ideal on the continent for all sorts of resources. Though lacking in some fertile nutrients, the forests yield unique and hardy fruits, berries, and the animals which feast on them. To the farthest north east, it borders the Wilds.

This village controls a large almost triangular shape of land, cut into only by the Devil’s Lake. The land has the most abundant biomes in the world, encompassing tundra, cold desert, hot desert, grassland, and tropical forests. With access to the ocean to the southwest and the large lake near the middle of the region, the people never really want for water and have survived for many years off the land. Without an inner squabble, the many clans who resorted to this village in avoidance of war were rewarded with more than freedom, but obtained also extensive resources. There are nearly 2500 miles of land stretching from north to south and dozens of roads leading around within and departing the village into the other villages. However, it is not exempt from danger: borders to both villages are threats during uneasy times, to the north lay the Crags of Moon Village and the unexplored savage forests of the Wilds, to the east Akuma territory, known for spirits, demons, monsters and legendary bijuu, and at the south the bereft Land of the Departed.

These are areas marked as neutral areas to all villages, where a plethora of shinobi find themselves being sent out on missions or find themselves crossing when moving between the different villages. All areas that aren't villages or the Land of the Departed can be found here.
